Impromptu P56 7-18-16

Checking the ATCS on my way out of a doctors appointment in Maryland, I saw a route lined up for Main 2 from Manassas to Van Dorn. I was hoping it was the 64A from early this morning, but the scanner informed me it was P56. Ah well, train is better than no train!

Didn't have enough time to run home for my proper camera, but my phone managed to snag some nice pictures of the train pounding through the plant at Burke; a very long train with a delightful mix of hopper types. I don't typically get to see P56 as it runs in the morning, toting rocks from Vulcan quarries in Casanova and Wellington, VA.
